A.B.I.D.E. Uganda 2017
In Uganda, A.B.I.D.E. stands for Amagara Bible Institute for Discipleship and Evangelism.
Every year since 2008, students between high school and University have been living together for an intense 6 month time of discipleship. During these months, students are equipped with the skills and character they will need to be missionaries in their communities and universities. I was asked to be the "guest of honor" at the graduation of the 24 A.B.I.D.E. students this year. When I asked what was involved, I was told you will need to wear a robe, a funny hat, preach for 30 minutes, cut a cake, and commission the students. It indeed was an honor to be part of this special event.
